Helplessness Poem by Ashley Helton

That feeling you get when you are in a dark whole. With no where to go and nothing to do about it. The anxiety, depression, and anger start to settle in. And you feel helpless cause you hear your your loves ones cries and screams; begging for help and mercy. But then all of a sudden you go from being helpless to being depressed because you your helpless and even when you where there....they never wondered did you need help, and they ignored your cries and screams. Then you look finally sit down and face the fact that they didn't care and you can't help them cause your in this dark whole. All of a sudden you get cold, and happy. Then you finally see a light! But you look down at your arms and see that your cries and screams are streaming dark red down your hands. And as soon as you are finally happy and In the light and its too late for people to help. That is when people finally see that you needed help and hear your cries and screams.
