Help Please Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Help please

No jacket, vest, nor shirt
Exposed is my skin
To breeze and the chill
Of desert's cold and heat.

I know life as seen by
The orphans, poor and rich.

Am in search of lost, found,
There must be infant, child
Of a word that is lost,
Someone said: "It was Love."

Love was in thought and mind,
Love was action of the kind,
Love filled hands to share heart.

In old days, as am told:
"Love was seed and harvest."

Did I see it trashed?
Is it in pit of hate?
Is it in the grave, concrete?

See a night of darkness,
Made by the meanest rulers
That are jars, urns, bottles
Of fighting for power.

They, sure are champions
Have won race with devils.

Naked, nude, and open
Eagerly am in search.

Give a hand
Please help.

We need to sow love's seed
To grow love, harvest
In the light, not darkness.
