Held Trip Prophecies Poem by Ximmi Moon

Held Trip Prophecies

Why don't you love me if you want me to stay?

Nevermind lovin' and touchin' out in L.A.

Thirty dirty freaky styley blackeyed blonde

Catholic school girls rule Hollywood

Walkin' on down the road behind the Sun

Me and my backwoods friends fight like a brave

Subterranean homesick hunger against millionaires

Under the pretty little ditty bridge to Higher Ground

Breaking the stone cold Bush's castle made of sand

One hot minute one big mob falling into grace

Transcending the power of equality, Shallow be thy name!

Naked in the rain road trippin' around the world

Readymade warlocks storm in a carbon teacup

Universally speaking strip my mind with a funky crime.

Knock me down on Higher Ground to taste the pain

We believe in so much blood sugar sex & magik

That this is the place I could die for you

Dosed hard to concentrate in the 21st Century

Subway to a porcelain parallel universe

Right on time Venus summer in Mercury

Fire the zephyr song slowly, deeply out of range

The Battleship Brothers' American ghost dance

Uplift the funky monks love trilogy Mofo Party Plan

My lovely man greeting the song like dirt,

Suck my kiss warped walkabout tearjerker

Melancholy aeroplane mechanic's purple stain,

Funk over this velvet glove desecration smile savior

Cuz true men don't kill coyotes if you have to ask.
