Very Dope Meantime Poem by Ximmi Moon

Very Dope Meantime

We walk sitting still gardening at night

Second guessing life and how to live it.

Diminished at my most beautiful hope,

Why not smile sad professor? Get up!

You are the everything half a world away;

Low, near wild heaven, shiny happy people belong,

Nightswimming, everybody hurts, sweetness follows.

Losing my religion, these days fall on me I believe.

What if we give it away? You let me in.

Strange currencies, I took your name.

I don't sleep, I dream exhuming McCarthy.

It's the end of the world as we know it,

And I feel fine, time after time;

So fast, so numb - I wanted to be wrong

Until the day is done...... Accelerate,

Drive, disappear! She just wants to be.

There she goes again, feeling gravity's pull, laughing.

Can't get there from here underneath the bunker

Burning hell bandwagon of maps and legends.

Welcome to the occupation - the one I love.
