Heartbreak Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Heartbreak

Heartbreak

No, never tell me of
-caring for animals.

I saw you when cried
-saw falling teardrops.

Saw him too
-wiped his eyes.

Stood your cameras
-by walrus falling off
-a cliff; to die as others died;
-hundreds of corpses lying dead.

Netflix had shown, aired…

Blind are White House and
-palaces with thrones
-one is in Toronto!

These slaves of the wealth
-want us to be slaves;
-to purchase and fashions.

Have no heart in their chests;
-how can then, they break?

Be honest and tell me:
"Neither have you and me! "

Just think of butterflies!
Insects in Pesticides!
The raccoons and the bears!
The lambs, cows, and chickens!

Heartbreaks and smokes
-when burns Notre Damme…

What about in Yemen?
-the coup in Venezuela?
-and drums for Iran?

It is so touchingly delineated on cruelity and humanity. A gorgeous poem is shared amazingly.
