When I met you for the first time
My heart pounded like she knows you..

It felt like I spent decades
Waiting just to see you..

Long back beyond the time
Or maybe in another life
I knew I felt you closer,
right by my side.

I knew that I was beside
Resting under your arms.

I knew we spend so many ages,
Now we are back in the nearness..

I knew I know you
the first time when I saw you...

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
When you meet few people you know that there is a connection you have with them beyond time and physical existence. It could be because of being the soulmate or simply because some souls have lots to share before they leave.They have made a connection long before the bodies have met and it is hard for the heart to never feel that energy!
