Heart Break Poem by Amanda Fenn

Looking at those beautiful eyes
Where i can see your many lies
You said you loved me untill the end
But that's not true you're not even a friend

You made me think that you were the one
You've played with my heart and my emotions won
I try to make the pain go away
But it's too hard and the sky stays grey

The day you said 'we are no more'
I could barely make it out the door
I couldn't say anything to your face
I felt like i was in outer space

Did that just happen? Did my heart just break?
My heart has shattered and there's an unbearable ache
Because of you i cannot love again
My love is hopeless and my life is on the wane

This could have been stopped if only you didn't lie
Because of you all I can do is cry!
