Every Color Of The Rainbow Poem by Amanda Fenn

Every Color Of The Rainbow

Every time I see you, the beauty is too good to be true,
Every time I see a rainbow it reminds me of you.
Every colour of the rainbow reminds me of another emotion,
Especially when the rainbow is above the pretty ocean.
When your face shows anger it reminds me of fire,
Red orange and yellow, I now hate that liar.
When your face is confused it reminds me of green,
Endless trees in a forest, I just want to scream.
When you are sad it reminds me of blue,
Until you are happy I can only think of you.
When I see the colour purple, I think of you alone,
You look out of place, abandoned and look unknown.
When I see the emotion burning inside your eyes to be,
The boy I love back, the boy forever with me.

This is a pretty fair poem of rhyme mostly and some rhythm to go along in places. I won't say that it is a great poem, but I liked the creativity of the writer and the use of the rainbow. The ending was not the best in how it was phrased but that can be worked on a bit. All in all, a solid poem. GW62
