Frozen blankets a
Vortex of hope.
Cruel brutality swept
Into heaven’s envelope.
Darkened skies bear fruit
Of virgin kisses drifting,
Dancing with ribbons of
Breezes ever shifting.
Icy caresses to numb
The rising tide, of
Marauding malice
That beckons outside.
Swirling swathes of
Clarity shielded
By visions of destiny
Gone unheeded.
Pure silent angel feathers
Unburdened high fly,
To spiral and whisper
In mere mortals eye.
Illusive and fleeting
Never be caught,
Just to flicker and fade
Taking answers we sought.
Logic and reason
Magyked from sight.
Gentled and kissed
By a heavenly knight.
