He Works Out At My Gym Poem by Linda Coker

He Works Out At My Gym

I think I’ll never cease to marvel
At the many ways
And lengths that God will go to
Just to speak to me some days.

And if I try to run and hide and
Get away from Him,
I just can’t get too far at all-
He reaches me at the gym.

Some of those manly muscled men,
When they start to flex,
Will flaunt their artistic tattoos
And that’s when I start to vex.

A scripture reference on an arm,
Meant for me to see-
When I get home and look it up,
It’s a message from God to me!
