He Who Hesitates Poem by Dorothy (Alves) Holmes

He Who Hesitates

The wizard comes out of hiding
Tired, sulking about some mis-laid

Which scored low on the scale of
Good
Better
Best
So he revamped his style and
After a while
Would have written the perfect rhyme
But ran out of time...the clock stopped
Ticking...
