He's The Number Poem by martin lawler

He's The Number

« He's The Number »

You can never win a race with time
He's the mountain you just can't climb
Not even when you're in your prime
He's The Number

Are you going to be late today?
Then you'd better move and not delay
Time is right on cue that's why they say
He's The Number

All his lines are written in your face
You can try but these you can't erase
You'd better welcome his cold embrace
He's The Number
