He Listens To My Prayers Poem by Muneeb Tahir Muneeb Tahir

He Listens To My Prayers

He listens, when in isolation, I cry,

Because in my heart He resides, heart

Whenever, my feet on ground, get freeze,

He invites to bend down on knees,

Come to success, He calls five times a day,

I am in the ocean, when near is the bay, crying

More than seventy mothers, He cares,

Partnerning any one in his worship, I can't dare,

When Abraham(A.S)was put into the fire,

Into the cold it turned, don't you admire?

I went for his search million miles,

Closer to my vein He is, I can't realize, crying

How mighty He is, I always think,

He can change my fate before my eye blinks, heart

By his will, Nile was divided into two parts,

And lead a way to Mosses(A.S)todepart,

He safeguarded Jonah(A.S)in fish belly,

He even favoured in blind alley, yes

He crushed the elephants by little swallows,

On my lips, is His name, in tone mellowsmiley
