He Is A Sunrise Poem by Allie Dove

He Is A Sunrise

Rating: 4.3

When he comes sweeping me off my feet,
he kindles me
like fire ignited,
and my heart is glowing.
He puts a spark in my eyes
and brings light to all of my darkness.

When he comes to hold me tight,
he warms me
like blankets in the midst of winter,
and my soul is beaming.
Even at midnight he is a sunrise
That promises love tomorrow and tomorrow.

Beautiful love poem, well articulated and subtly penned from inner recesses of the heart with conviction. A good depiction of true love - a spiritual experience of pure bliss which affects all and sundry profoundly. Thanks for sharing Allie. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
