He Came With A Box Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

He Came With A Box

He came with a box
-Canadian beer
-this is what he does
-most of the times
-not always the same

He neither showed up
-nor called to talk
-no change of plan

I fell asleep, drunk
-right as he was out
-reminder of the
-past years…

Never a trouble drunkard
-always playful and in times
-dangerously…
-among them the Khojand's
-with Amir and his cousin
-different in times and occasions
-yet drunk, drunkard…

First was in that girl's house
-with Amir…
-not hers but a major's
-she, a mate, a slave
-to a corrupt major
-rich because of his job
-and for his show off
-and she was not satisfied
-wanted men and games
-and sex in her way;
-in absence of major
-his wealth for her? ? ?

Other time I was a VIP
-destroyed my name
-by drinking…
-both cousins had to leave me
-half way, before home
-I was disaster…
-incredible stories…on benches…
