He Calls Me Names Poem by Randy McClave

He Calls Me Names

He called me ugly and then a geek
And then I called him a freak,
He then called me mean and then bratty
And I then called him fatty.
Then others in our online discussions got involved
As our name calling quickly evolved,
Then others online took a quick offense
As they quickly took his defense.
They took his side over mine
As they then began to complain and also whine,
He called me and said he thought it was very funny
Now my long time friends call him sweetheart and honey.
They once were my friends and my allies
I was there for them emotionally and financially which is no lies,
Seemingly I knew them forever
And from their past mistakes I never once did sever.
They never knew him as long as I did
And their secrets about themselves to me they never hid,
I was always there when they needed me
As my friend continue our friendship and our insulting history.
Them I decided I will not now ever miss
As they all have given me the Judas kiss,
With sadness in my heart they have brought
And lies and excuses from them is what I got.
Now by them I was stabbed in the back
By, their cowardly attack,
Just because a name game a friend and I played
With me, my fatty freaky friend is all that stayed.

Daily my friend calls or texts me an insulting name
I returned the insult as part of our game,
And then when our name calling has ended
Strangers, and not us are the ones acting offended.
