Some people say this
If they can't see it,
They can't believe it is.
And so Its being they forfeit

Everything unseen,
Untouched by human sense
Fails to grasp the scene
As being, has no existence.

As a child I have seen Love
There in my mother's eye.
My Dad, he also proved
Love is - though some deny.

I have seen Hope alive
In the work they did to live-
Through hardships to survive
Hope is - this I believe.

I held Love in my arms
The day I had my firstborn.
Its beauty and its charms
True as sunshine at morn.

I write of what I have known
The heart sees it more clearly.
Not in the tangibles alone
Each breath is - Love and Hope touching me.
