Have You Ever....
Have you ever felt the way I do?
Sad
Lonely
And frightened?
Have you ever felt the need I feel?
Loved
Accepted
Excited?
Have you ever seen the things I've seen?
Love
Hate
And fighting?
Have you ever been the places I've been?
The dark
The sky
In hiding?
If you've ever felt the way I do
Then you surely understand
The pain that I am going through
The torture still at hand....
(P.S. For those who may think the wrong thing at the end, I am speaking of emotional torture, an indirect form at that....)
Poetry brings pleasure and it brings ' emotional torture ' as well. You have a very good poetic sensibility. Every sensetive soul goes through the feelings you have expressed.
