Has Beens Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Has Beens

Money given value to worship.
As humanity goes ignored.
And prioritized impressions to make.
Is the only thing one lives for.
Are becoming less,
Connected with happiness.
Or the importance of being honest.
To know this felt and not it faked.
Dedicate some time each day observing.
Everything else?
Consider has beens to have had enough.
Know what is needed most.
Your kept faith.
Kept faith will provide the way.
Without panic or impulsive wishes.
Think...
Of the repercussions.
Think...
Before doing something stupid to regret.
And pay attention to listen,
To those recovering from being fools!
Refuse to be amongst the has beens.
The ones treated as if experiments.
Instead of human beings.
