Halloween Poem by Eibhlin Theresa

Halloween

Rating: 5.0

Trick or treat, trick or treat
We howled and shrieked going down the street
Flashing lights, dressed to be seen
Preparing for the party on Halloween

We had Goolies, Goblins and Skeletons
And Witches and Warlords in wellingtons
Dracula was there and towering so high
Under that Halloween eerie sky

The Pumpkins were surely all alight
To welcome us in on this spooky night
We couldn’t wait for our cover to lift
And take off our masks to check out the gift.
