Half A Memory Poem by TyjaRae Guy

Half A Memory

Rating: 5.0

My tears fall delicately like a petal from a flower
Every motion of wind is a heavenly catch of breath
Your voice is beautiful but just a sleepless memory
Our heart to heart demise may cause to be my death

Your smile was the light that lit up my life
Until its battery like fuel came to an end
Your smile disapeared and my life darkened
Your baby pink and my pitch black failed to blend

My sleepless, lonely nights are like a tree in winter
The wind against its leaves is your breath to my face
Your words ring, like a razorblade against my skin
Every smile devoted to you was just a waste

You make me feel like a sun without its shine
A mother without her new born, a cow without its calf
I gave you the sun, the moon and the stars
I gave you my love, and you never gave me half
