Hail To The Mighty. Poem by Geoffrey Fafard

Hail To The Mighty.

Long live the king
Looking down, reigning over
Long live the queen
Holding court, ordaining might
Long live the prince
Obeying destiny, decreeing law
Long live the princess
Owning beauty, swallowing would be kings
Long live their captains
Doing battle conquering countless
Long live their empires
Gathering wealth, defeating nations
Long live lord time
Outliving their dust, their memories
Long live this earth
Sister of time, mistress of life
Long live eternity
Last to be considered
Most relevant of all

A very interesting poem. Time seems to be a favourite topic of yours, one that you return to and write of frequently.

Thank you P.P. I have time on my hands now and I am enjoying not having to account for every minute. I just simply write about it. And to write is such a wonderful thing to do don't you think? Oh and by the way I have been up many dusty lost roads and have so enjoyed eating their dust... :) Keep writing. Geoffrey.
