is sometimes a brooding sage
Swift and slow in turn!

indeed, time's passage is so often colored by our perception.

Wonderful contrasts - I certainly prefer those moments time is brooding to the charging horse. The horse is too close to Marvell's dismaying metaphor - AND AT MY BACK I ALWAYS HEAR TIME'S WINGED CHARIOT HURRYING NEAR. But we better give that sage some comic literature so he is not always brooding. I have an extra copy of Sterne's TRISTRAM SHANDY which is guaranteed to make the sage smile.

Swift in move and slow in turn that is how it is - time. Nice lines. Thank you.

Yes, time stretches and contracts as well, the most flexible, that science calls relative, a lovely haiku that highlights these facts.
