Guilt Of Greed Poem by Poppa Yao

Guilt Of Greed

Rating: 5.0

In my dreams,
Lays a land full of peace.
By its streams,
I feel the grip of stress release.
And it seems,
There is not a place better than this.

I awake wet,
All too early in the wee morn.
Saturated in sweat,
Awaiting a sun unshone.
Pulsate in regret,
Guilty that in my paradise I was alone.

I dream again,
Enjoy it all the more on my own.
No more drein,
I awake way far past dawn.
A clear brain,
I now owned a heart of stone!
