Gtfo Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

Gtfo

I look to love as something to sustain
You weren't invested in what's been attained
Murdered my heart as if it's been slain
The pilot was improperly credulous
Who is the captain steering a flagging ship?
Can't say i love you, if i don't mean it
I ain't the type who likes to coddle
If it's going one way it's not a round trip
It isn't much of a surprise
It's just you didn't realize
You didn't look beyond the signs
While we were running out of time
And you will GFTO...
and you will GTFO...
GTFO
Why don't you leave the keys
and be on your way out?
Drive a few miles on a full tank, goodbye, baby
Why don't you excuse yourself
Not one thing more to talk about
Waste no more of my time
hit the freeway
