Grow Up Poem by Joe Slone

Living life to its fullest,
instead of wasting away,
this is how it should be,
and now how it shall stay.

I've grown up,
a lot as of late,
deciding what i want in life,
and how i am going to achieve it.

nothing will stop me now,
no one can stand in my way,
i'm on my way there,
on my own free will.

i refuse to live,
the way everyone does,
day after day,
life so dull...

a challenge is what i need,
something to push me hard,
a chance to prove myself,
a chance to make a sound.
