Grow Old Along With Me Poem by Randy McClave

Grow Old Along With Me

If you grow old along with me
Together the same roads we will see,
I promise you everyday will be true
If only, it will be just me and you.
Together as one we will always stand
Forever, I will hold tightly onto your hand,
And though someday you might disappear
In my thoughts though, you will still be here.

Will you grow old with me at my side
If so, together we can take life's ride,
We will walk the same roads and paths
And we'll experience the same joys and laughs.
I will give you all that I hold
If with me you just promise to grow old,
Everyday I will write you a rhyme
As together, we walk through time.

If you grow old along with me
I'll be happy, as the happiest soul could be,
And you of course will be as happy as well
Because in true love forever we will both dwell.
If you promise to be my mate
A great adventure is ahead with no need to hesitate,
Up ahead is our wonderful and happy destiny
That is, if you grow old along with me.
