Grounded By A Volcano Poem by Elusive Conclusive

Grounded By A Volcano

Laying here in my bed, loads of thoughts going on in my head. Like when will I ever see you gain, I got to the airport to find they had cancelled my plane.

Words can’t express what you mean to me, but i’m still stuck here with the same Peruvian scenery.

The last 14 days took ages to pass by, when I herd we had another 11 my heart broke and I began to cry.

You know how much you mean to me and I want to be next to you, but instead i’m writing this on the top bunk in a hostel in Peru.

I hope these day fly by or a miracle comes along, how in one day my life could go so wrong.

Even though the volcano in Iceland was thousands of miles away, the ash and debris have kept me grounded for another 11 days.

After talking to you on the phone, hearing your beautiful voice thousands of miles away at home.

You made me smile more than I have done this whole holiday, even though I had just found out I wouldn’t get home until midnight the following Thursday.

You made me laugh at the silly things you said, I love everything about you my darling and my colour is red.

I won’t be happy until I see your cute smile, i’m never leaving you again this will be my last holiday for a long while.

Once you have read this I hope you feel it too, Rebecca i’m madly in love with you.
