Green. Poem by Tom Allport

Green.

Rating: 5.0

I have always been festive
It was always my fate
I was never a has-been
Adults say I taste great
I am coloured green
Roll around your plate
Yet I am the vegetable
That all children hate.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Question... what vegetable is my poem about? Clue it begins with the letter S.....

With the "roll around your plate" I was thinking pees, but of course that doesn't start with an "s"
