Grasping Sanity Poem by Blue Moonlight

Grasping Sanity

Rating: 5.0

Echoes and murmurs of voices fill the air.
My insanity can longer be cured.
I'm way past my reasoning to even care.
Everything for you I've endured.

Wasting my life in a fabricated time,
You're not healthy for me and I should have known.
Not sure how I ended up making a rhyme,
I just feel like I've been picked up and then thrown.

The flutter of each page as the breeze comes home,
Reminds me of that someone who used to smile.
Many battles were won and ended in Rome.
It shows how some people get lost for awhile.

Someone, come and help me find all the pieces,
Of a heart that bled and shattered in the end.
The phantoms of the drugged and poisoned kisses,
Are gonna make it impossible to mend.
