Grandpa,
it's me your little girl
all grown up now
and I am missing you so

I could not find you today
you have left this world
but you are never really gone
in my hear you always stay

I really miss you grandpa
as tears stream down my face
I think of you, the good times we've shared
and of the memories we've made

I wasn't ready to say goodbye
I wasn't ready to let you go
I needed you here with me
if only for a while longer

But God said
it was your time you go
he called you home and granted you angel wings
and took you from your endless pain

The days slip by and time passes on
but the pain still remains
so many night I've cried myself to sleep
I miss you more each day

You never got to see
my beautiful wedding day
my precious baby girl, my loving husband
or little life we've hade

I've worked so hard, come so far, and tried my best
as you watch over me each night
I only hope I have made you proud
with the women I have become today

now that you are gone and no longer here
I miss you and all the memories we have shared
goodnight dear grandpa
You will always have a place here in my hear
I love you and miss you always
