A Buffalo Winter Poem by Nicole GravellPellerino

A Buffalo Winter

Rating: 2.8

mountains of white snow
pile up miles high
marshmellow flakes
blow violently through the bitter air
to home the children are bound celebrating
another frosty snow day
Sleding, and sking
snow boarding and ice skating
building snow men
and angels of snows
the best day they'll have
all year

mom calls
its time for them to go in
time for hot chocolate
and a warm fire
to defrost their frozen toes
the sky is still falling
soon they will be back out to play
