Gossip

Gossip can never
keep his story straight.
And he starts to relate
With Mr. Lie.
And that’s when plans are made
To take over.
Who’s running that show?
I think I know.
And a little red suit doesn’t fit him.
I vote No!
But is the ballot closed?
Is the election past?
This puppet administration
Provides no emancipation;
Only calloused legislation.
The law is passed. The books are closed.
And now life is lived
While someone else controls.
