Goodbye, Mignonne Poem by Hebert Logerie

Goodbye, Mignonne

The decision is made. Tomorrow, I will go;
Yet, I do not know where I will land.
My luggage is full and packed;
I am ready to confront the future, solo.

I have tears in my eyes; it's perfectly normal.
I'm human; I have blood in my veins.
I find it strange to say goodbye. I feel sad and flat.
Oh! God, I’m hurt, the sky appears abnormal.

I have a rendezvous with my Muse, with destiny.
Soon, you will see peace, you’ll find a new morning.
Living with you has been hard and uneasy.

Still, I want to offer you the best wishes under the moon.
I hope that you take time to fix your flaws.
Ciao! On the vestibule, I left a bouquet of flowers.
