Good Company At 64 Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

Good Company At 64

At sixty-four I like to dwell
With people and things that nourish the heart
My time may be over and I can tell
From this finite world I will soon depart.

And so there are people I have to delete
From the rest of my life and from my circles,
I choose those that help make my life complete-
Avoiding the ones who put obstacles.

Good company helps to make me whole
They're not the ones that tear me apart,
God gives them to me to better my soul
Refreshing this journey, giving joy to the heart!
