The sun has gone
It's left our meeting
Here I stand
Still caught dreaming
Waves crash down
Without much meaning
Pain rolled in
as I saw you leaving
My hope fades
Crushed for believing

But what a time we would share
The moment we handled with care
I'll always miss you so
But I guess you just had to go

Cold creeps in
Never ceasing
My bones chill
The marrow's freezing
I miss the warmth
Your eyes kept revealing
Seeing it gone away
It leaves me reeling
Lost in the dark
Without feeling

Those moments we handled with care
I'll always miss you so
But I guess you just had to go

We stole life away from time
And enjoyed it without reason or rhyme
The day has met it's end
I would do all of it again
