Golden Moments Poem by Darwin Henry Beuning

Golden Moments

One of life's many joys -
Coming home again
After being gone so many years

For my wife, Nakhon Sawan
For me, Minnesota's long summer

Seeing,
Family and friends
Classmates from grades past

'Oh, what a joy! '

A warm embrace,
a firm handshake,
An open smile,
Everything is sunshine

Suddenly,
You are young again

A lovely poem of homecoming and reunion with the past. Written in super cool freeverse style. Thumbs up. Pls do review my latest poem too.

I know your wife is happy being back home in her native land again. These are indeed golden moments for her. Your poem brought a big smile to my face and actually made me feel warm all over. Well done!
