Get Out And Vote - Decision 2020 Poem by Darwin Henry Beuning

Get Out And Vote - Decision 2020

Rating: 5.0

Election time is looming
3 November 2020
Forty-nine days and counting

Joseph Robinette Biden Jr
Versus
Donald John Trump

We, like chickens
On the fence
Will have to jump

"One way or the other"

Problem is,
Each of them likes
Chicken Dinner

Very funny, Hank. Either one of them would chew us up.

37 days and counting.. 1st Presidential Debate this coming Tuesday,29 September. This will be the most viewed live TV event ever. I will be watching with pad and pen. An event that deserves a poem.

I love the picture of the chickens on the fence. Different colored chickens, and the USA is a melting pot of people of different colors. The picture is thus sort of a poem in itself! Thanks!

Ha! Chicken dinner! Very funny! Whatever happened to the good old days when you could choose between two GOOD candidates?

Well conceived and nicely brought forth with a tinge of humour. Insightful utterances set aside for honest reflection. A beautiful work of art.

Gary James Smith, how can you vote for Trump (or for anyone in the USA) ? Your profile says that you live in Canada!
