Golden Gown Poem by Ronald Chapman

Golden Gown

Roman goddess; smiling
Dressed in a golden gown,
Dancing among the clouds,
In a dawning August sky,

Listening to my prayers,
While I wait,
For the summer,
Sun to rise,

As the stars hide behind a curtain of blue,
Your morning smile travels with me,
Filling my Soul with hope and beauty,
Throughout the day...
