Gold And Women Poem by Somanathan Iyer

Gold And Women

gold and women
inseparable lot
high stakes both have
owning them is a pride
both are precious
foolish to lose any
men love women
women love the gold
more than their hubbies
loved is gold by women
blind love for women
force the men buying gold
gold comes handy
whenever need arises
women lend a moral strength
whenever distress fall on men
yet gold stands unique
commanding always
a selling value!

One great wealth is to have a woman who keeps the gold for the rainy days in marriage. Sometimes a woman or even children are often referred as gold because of their value. Some as pearls and some as diamonds comparatively. Great write. Thank you.

Women's love of gold has become almost proverbial, though it varies from country to country! It is unfortunate that some women love gold above their husbands! When you say that gold has selling value, do you mean to say that women do not have any resale value? Poor women.... they have to sell themselves and give a price too! Interesting write!
