Going Going Gone (A Servant To Drugs) Poem by Herbert Dry

Going Going Gone (A Servant To Drugs)

Wells without water clouds without
rain
You boast of great things
There is no change

Diamonds without sparkle fire without
heat
You make promises none you ever
keep

Your words are empty like a house where no one
lives
You won't
work for money from others you
steal

You are a well without water a cloud without
rain
It's never your fault others you
blame

Life is unfair all you want is your
share
Looking into your eyes nothing but a blank
stare

You are like a diamond without sparkle fire without
heat
You traded your life for a needle in your vain your home
is an alley just off the
street

You make promises that you never keep. These words you have written are composed very well... iip
