From Sorrow To Hope Poem by Herbert Dry

From Sorrow To Hope

I ride on the wings of
sorrow
For me there is no
tomorrow

My vision is blurred by reason
of tears
I haven't seen my loved one for
many years

My soul hungers for a loving
touch
When I stand by your grave it hurts
so much

If tomorrow should come what would I
do
It would be flooded with memories of
things of you

If I had a choice to you I would
give
I would take your place so you
could live

I stand by the side of a grave
freshly dug
Waiting for the moment you I
might hug

I now ride on wings
of hope
Waiting to see you of whom I
just spoke

LOVE YOU ALWAYS
