Been down this road before.
Closing Yet another door
Braced again for the fall.

Going, going, gone
Doesn't matter much
No one else will witness
The silence of my touch.

Going, going, gone
To find that place inside
Where walls are a fortress.
Behind which I safely hide.

Going, going, gone
It doesn't matter where.
As long as getting there
Will end pain and despair.

Going, going, gone
Do not dare shed a tear.
This is what you wanted.
