Going Down Poem by David Harris

Going Down

Rating: 4.5

I’m on an endless treadmill
my head is going round and round,
I see myself with no future,
only some kind of despair,
with no way out.
A job at a dead end,
which is the way I feel,
my life in a cul-de-sac,
with nothing there.
Backed into a corner,
by everything around,
feeling helpless and hopeless,
with nowhere to go.
No up lift visible.
No sanctuary anywhere.
No way out to be found.
Just going down,
down,
and down.

Wow... This is great it reminds me of my Job, i feel like this every working day... A bit like pushing a round boulder up a mountain, and starting again the very next day... Thanks for the bad memories my friend...10

Well than, you are not going down alone, for your many friends are with you, I can relate to this, you know that well. It is so sad but so beautifully written....Keep writing, let it all out! ! ! ! love, marci....
