Gogol Poem by Donald R Wolff JR

Gogol

Gogol is a friend of mine
He runs and plays all day
Gogol chases blowing leaves
Before they float away

Gogol dreams of butterflies
Fluttering just above
His little feet will run, a run
Chasing them along

Little Gogol, all so small
How did you grow so big
Now you are a lazy dog
Always wanting special treats

Run, Run Gogol, get the ball
Don't look at me so sweet
This is how you chase the ball
Come get the ball with me

Listen Gogol if you please
Sit- give me your paw
No- No, Gogol, just like this
What a silly dog

Oh my Gogol now I see
The working of that furry mind
I wonder if you laugh at me
My training has come along, just fine
