I Weep Poem by Donald R Wolff JR

I Weep

Rating: 5.0

I weep
Not for myself but for all life I see
The flowers, the bears and even the trees
For what I encounter becomes feeling in me
So many past memories of hopes that might be

To thee my great mother who I have wandered with, free
The ages are passing, I find comfort with thee
With my spirit in body until the Earth reclaims me
All I love is in nature, A lovely setting

And when I am nothing but a faint memory
I hope all will live happy
As all is in my dreams
