God's Special Place Poem by Marilyn Lott

God saw that she was tired
So He took her to a place
Where He could hold her closely
In a safe and warming space.

For it doesn't go unnoticed
We don't always understand
But, God always pays attention
Our lives are guided by His hand.

It is very hard and painful when
We lose someone we love
Who is trying so hard to stabilize
We often pray to God above.

So when we have the opportunity
To help God with someone
We can hold out our hand and take
Them from the darkness into the sun.
