Losing a baby at any stage
Always breaks your heart
Mommy most of all hurts, but
The entire family is a big part.

Plans have been made to add
This tiny person to the mix
But if something stops its growth
Surely some way it can be fixed.

Not always, we know this is true
So the one we can always count on
Is God, for He can help us
To rise up to the pain and be strong.

It doesn't stop us from hurting
Our heart seems to be broken in two
But we are not ever alone
Has this ever happened to you?

So if, my friend, you are at a place
When you have lost a part of you
Realize God is by your side
He will help you to know what to do.
