God's Miracles Poem by Natalie Dirks

I felt so heavy
Burdened down
I BEGGED the Lord
In prayer
'Send a miracle
PLEASE! ' I said
'Nothing less will do.'

I watched my prayer
Float up to God.
I waited,
Nothing happened.
I asked Him, 'WHY? '
I couldn't understand.

He said, 'Just trust.
I have a plan.
I see the future
Clearly.
I'll never leave you
To face this test alone.'

And then I felt
The burden lift
The problem-
Still so real.
But in my heart
A change began.

FAITH ruled out
The churning doubt.
LOVE washed out
The hurt.
ACCEPTANCE covered
All the rest.

A miracle
As God saw best.
