God's Gift's Poem by Theodora (Theo) Onken

God's Gift's

Rating: 5.0

Blessed by gift's given
Numberless, nameless, noble things
.....Removing raindrops all too ravaging
Swept with sunshine - my soul sings.

Heart felt happiness of heavens
Growing much as gossamer wings
.....Paths to Paradise's plentiful playground
Capturing cloudless carefree days that it brings.

Showing smiles sweet sincerity & serenity
.....Candles cordial comforting light
Congregation of complete compassion
Bringing benediction's of benevolent sight.

Brian, am so glad you liked my words. i believe paradise is any place of supreme happiness thus we can, indeed, experience it here on earth. Heaven for me - is the blessed home of those who have gone before us- residing with our God. Appreciate you reading and commenting! You are a stellar poet who i enjoy reading!

You had fun with this, didn't you? Playing with alliteration, playing with words- - - - - ] Candles cordial comforting light. That is sooooooooooooooooo lovely and so spot-on. I shall never look at a candle again without thinking of these gorgeous words. Yes, I do believe your soul is Swept with sunshine - my soul sings. Very very nicely done, Theo. Feels good when you nail it, doesn't it? ! ! !

Good use of alliteration in this honest poem celebrating the pure joy of living on God's Earth. Or God's Paradise in Heaven. Perhaps they're one and the same...?
